The PlanetCCTV Archive/Video clip Viewer gives the user the ability
to review video data that has been transferred from Hard Disk to Digital
Tape or CDR for archive purposes. The user can replay directly from
a tape or CD or can copy specific video data files from Digital Tape
to Hard disk if so required.
When a PlanetCCTV DVMS or NVMS Server uses a Digital Tape Backup
drive, NAS appliance or DVD-CDRW to archive recorded data from the
hard drive, the user will use the PlanetCCTV Archive/Video Clip Viewer
to review any archived video. The PlanetCCTV Viewer allows the user
to:
- Review archive data from yesterday or months ago directly from
Hard Drive, Digital Tape, CD or Network Appliance
- Replay video images at 3 different speeds in forward or reverse
- Review recorded alarm data files
- Search for video data by time/date or by using PlanetCCTV's
Smart Search feature
- Confirm and verify intruder alarm information
- Zoom Digitally up to 4x
- Export images for evidentiary purposes to floppy, CD as Bitmap
file for evidence
- Print images
- Play video files in half, normal and double speed, forward
or reverse
- Transfer segments of video data from the tape drive to a hard
disk, hard drive to tape, to CD or any other means of digital
storage
- Edit PlanetCCTV Archive or Video Clips narrowing the frames
of interest
- Define any collection of camera for creation of a video clip
- Create video clips of up to 16 cameras from multiple servers
- Review up to 8 video clips simultaneously
