The PlanetCCTV DVMS/NVMS Digital Video Recording, Transmission and Management Archive Storage System is made up of various hardware and software components. Each PlanetCCTV DVMS system, with the DVMS Video Server pre-loaded and pre-configured, includes the following components with functionality briefly described here: THE PLANETCCTV DVMS/NVMS SYSTEM: The PlanetCCTV DVMS/NVMS Software has been designed to run on commonly available Windows based computer platforms. The PlanetCCTV DVMS/NVMS Video Server software is the heart of the system and runs as a Service under Windows XP. Each PlanetCCTV Digital Video Server is pre-loaded and pre-configured for the enduser. If a PlanetCCTV DVMS/NVMS Server uses Digital Tape Backup, a Hard Drive Array or a NAS storage solution to archive recorded data from the hard drive, the user must use the Archive Viewer to review any archived video data. The PlanetCCTV Archive and Video Clip Viewer allows the user to: PLANETCCTV BASESTATION The PlanetCCTV Basestation server is used as a Central Monitoring Station tool, to verify alarm conditions from sites using PlanetCCTV DVMS/NVMS systems. Each user of a PlanetCCTV DVMS/NVMS Video Server has the option of sending alarm images to a computer configured with the PlanetCCTV BaseStation software. The PlanetCCTV BASESTATION allows the following functions to be performed: Basestation Alarms Receiver (more) The PlanetCCTV DVMS/NVMS Monitor is a very useful tool that allows system administrators and PlanetCCTV DVMS/NVMS users to view important data such as: The PlanetCCTV DVMS/NVMS allows images saved as bitmap files to be authenticated in a court of law. Each PlanetCCTV DVMS bit map image is watermarked and includes a digital signature. The PlanetCCTV DVMS/NVMS Snapshot Authenticator verifies that the bitmap image has not been altered in any way. If the image has been altered and is run through the Snapshot Authenticator, a blue and black stripe will be placed over the altered pixels information about the image will not be available. The PlanetCCTV Snapshot Authenticator is the only known digital video recording system to incorporate four (4) image authentication techniques - Audit Trail, Check Sum, Worm and Digital Signature. PlanetCCTV images have a 1/100 second time stamp and can be authenticated as an original or altered image when an image is presented as evidence in a courtroom. |
